I had a fun opportunity to push my design and painting skills for a Secret Santa gift exchange at work. When I drew my recipient I instantly knew I wanted to gift her some shoes since she was a huge Sneakerhead. I painted a pair of custom AF1s for her to bring on her upcoming trip to Mexico City. Throughout this project I bounced ideas off of my friend Florecita for a more accurate representation of Mexico City. I named the project AF1 "Flores" as a small homage and thank you.
